Love In Action

“Love In Action” is a section within the “My Daytona Directory” which documents acts of kindness within our community.  Although My Daytona Directory is a secular business guide, we felt that our city would benefit by witnessing the Church of Jesus Christ working together to meet the needs of others.  We do this through the photos we take and the articles we write.  Every day wonderful people are doing courageous exploits of compassion toward the poor, orphans, handicapped, elderly and sick in Central Florida cities.

Churches, outreach ministries, organizations and individuals are getting out there in the highways and byways to minister the love of Jesus to a dark and dying world which desperately needs to know that He cares for them.  We are bombarded daily through the media with works which display the sinful and selfish nature of those who seek to do harm to others.  At Daytona City Ministries we felt that it was about time that someone reports on the manifestation of the Kingdom of God.  “Righteousness, peace and Joy in the Holy Ghost, that’s the Kingdom of God”.  Wherever these selfless acts of kindness are happening, we want to report it to you.

So enjoy the articles and the photos.  These are not outreaches of Daytona City Ministries.  We only cover the events and proclaim to you how Jesus is working through His Church.
